Deep breathing has a direct impact on the lymphatic system. When we practice regular and consistent deep breathing, we can stimulate the lymphatic flow from the feet to the neck, then directed into the circulatory system.

Breathwork is a form of preventive medicine because breathing is directly related to the lymph flow & lymph flow is directly related to immunity. The immune system being our protection mechanism defending us against viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens.

Guided deep breathing during treatment encourages lymph movement. Fluid is moved through the lymphatic pathways to clear wastes, toxins, fats, and proteins and to reduce swelling and bodily discomforts.

Breathing is essential for regulating the lymphatic system—the network of tissues and organs in your body that help to detoxify the body by transporting lymph, a fluid that contains powerful infection-fighting white blood cells, throughout the body. Like the heart pumps blood around the body, deep, conscious breaths pump lymph fluid and improve baseline immunity.

Utilizing the Klose Method based on Vodder Techniques, Manual Lymphatic Drainage MLD Massage:

Increases the uptake of lymphatic fluids with skin stretching, hand pumping,

and rhythmic manipulations of key drainage points in the Lymphatic System.

Encourages drainage of the lymph nodes and decreases pain, providing

deep relaxation in a gentle and soothing way.

Based on the work of Dr. Rosita Arvigo, sessions offer slow, gentle massage of the abdomen, rib arch, legs and along the spine in a semi-seated position and side-lying. Additional work focused on any areas of discomfort as time allows.

What is this work for & benefits

All trimesters of pregnancy, postpartum care, menopause, prolapse, tilted uterus, digestive issues, IBS, hip/back pain, scarring, post-surgery for tummy tucks, hernias, c-sectons & the spine.

Hydration of tissues, increased circulation, soothing of tight, tender ligaments & muscles, lymphatic drainage, nourishing organs, relaxation and pain relief are

all benefits.

This work is deeply nourishing

and healing for vulnerable

areas of the body.

A woman’s pelvis is the center of her Universe. Through her pelvis flow currents of energy that sustain the physical, emotional and spiritual well being of a woman.

Guided Breathwork Sessions

What to expect in a session?

  • A relaxed & supportive space for breath exploration
  • Breath awareness assessments for breath quality
  • Hands-on adjustments for mechanical restrictions
  • Exercises for dysfunctional breath patterns
  • Relaxation & integration, reflections & questions
  • Resources, homework & opt. video / audio

Optimize your breath for daily activities, exercise gains, processing rehabilitation, and working through physical discomforts and when facing challenging times.

Shortness of breath, feeling breathless, difficulty catching a breath, can’t take a full breath or exhale fully, all impact baseline breathing. Over time, this affects our baseline breathing behavior.

As we age, we lose lung capacity and functionality in the diaphragm (the principle muscle of respiration). Regular, consistent breathwork practices can help to provide a healthy foundation for living your best life.
